Our Chairperson Mason Bonner along with committee from the Association was formed in the summer of 2024 to commemorate the Druid High School student-athletes from Marshall University killed in the airplane crash with the entire Marshall University Football team. All four members of the team, Larry Sanders, Joe Hood, Robert Vanhorn, and Freddie Wilson are buried in the Cedar Oak Memorial Cemetery in Tuscaloosa and the committee received a quote to place memorial ledgers for each player in the cemetery. This Go Fund Me account is developed to raise the $38,240.00 to pay for the ledgers.
